Error when trying to connect to Server

I am getting an error when my code tries to connect "This version of the Select client is not supported by the server."

We are running 4.0, both client and SDK, and the Select client has no problems connecting to the same server.

What dlls should I be looking at?

Make sure your copy of the API dlls are the right version. That error means you have out of date files somewhere, usually client side.
