Installing SoftPro Select Server 2.2

I am receiving an error message from the SoftPro Database Installer while it is executing the rollback script. Message: Installer failed. The target system is in an unknown state. Incorrect syntax near 'LOGIN'.

Previously I uninstalled the client and server 2.1 v. Then installed the client before installing the server. Now, even if I clear the registry or uninstall the components I receive this error. Please assist. Thank you

You need to install SQL Server 2005 SP2. There is a bug in SQL Server 2005 that was fixed in that service pack.
