How to Disable the Ability to Change Document Descriptions?

We are using our own DMS and want to prevent our users from changing the description/name of documents on the 'Attachments & Document History' tab. Is this possible?

Currently, that behavior is an integrated part of our publishing print job handler, and can not be changed. The dialog appears whenever there is a single item in the active print job, after having performed any collation/merging/etc.

Thanks Mark, that answers another question I had. In this case I am referring to after documents have already been created and you navigate to the 'Attachments & Document History' tab. The grid on this tab allows you can change the 'Description' of documents by clicking on the document description in the grid where you can edit it.

Ah... for that there is an "Attachments" permission in SPAdmin that allows you to prevent users from changing the descriptions of attachments, by way of denying the Edit right. It is under the ProForm\Order\ReadyDocs branch.
