Solved!! Re: Select Server Connection failure

Jake solved this issue last night. It turns out to be an IIS security related issue. The the SPServer account needs to be part of the IIS_USRS group. 
I am having the same problem. I am not able to run IIS as a group. So I added the user that is running IIS to select and that didnt work.
I also tried running IIS with user Admin, and that didnt either work.
What do i need to do? THanks.
