Enumerate all general order notes

When adding a note to a task or contact, and checking the include in general order notes checkbox, the note is displayed in the order notes screen but isn't available in the order.notes collection. We have to loop through the tasks and then each tasks notes to find it. Is there a way to enumerate all of those notes without iterating over each individual contextual container.
