I'm trying to setup an isolated workstation to connect to Softpro Standard using SQL in a domain environment.
I don't want to give the user access to domain resources, only Proform.
This workstation is on a network segment outside the domain network.
Support suggested I ask here to see if it's possible.
I've enabled mixed mode authentication on the Standard instance and the support tech set permissions on the SQL user I created for this project.
I Configured ODBC on the workstation to connect and it will pass the connection test within the ODBC wizard.
However, when I try to run Proform it displays the following error:
Is there a way to get Proform to connect without joining this workstation to the domain?

Re: Mixed mode SQL access with Standard
Sorry but I can't help since I deal with SoftPro Select. Can you please post your question to the forum Standard/Enterprise Development so someone from that team can answer it. Thanks!
