ReceivedByID is null

Post by mrisen »

We are noticing that after upgrading to SoftPro 4.0.3.3, most of our orders have a null in the ReceivedByID column in the pfm.Order table. We use this column for reporting which is where it was first noticed.

Is this a bug or is this intentional?

If intentional, what is an appropriate workaround for writing our reports?

There has been no change to the ReceivedByID between versions 3.0 (HF 4.2) and 4.0.3.3 that I'm aware of - it should have the same values post-upgrade. Can you identify specific orders that had the value populated pre-upgrade that currently do NOT have a value (e.g. from querying a backup of the database pre-upgrade)? In general, the field does allow null values.

The issue ended up being a 1-off item. We fixed it by updating a task, I believe, for one order and saving it.
