Server SPSPKG Package File Rejected from Select Services

Post by timothymeyer16 »

Good morning,

We are experiencing two issue issues regarding our SDK SPSPKG files.

First, we are unable to access Hive Mode for server packages.
The temporary server will start without issue, but when we try to connect an instance of Select it enters an infinite loop in authentication and eventually crashes. Images attached.
The URL it starts up under is http://localhost:8090
Should we be going about hive mode in another manner?

Secondly, we are unable to import our SDK SPSPKG files into Select Services. We have undergone obtaining a License but Select Services rejects the import with error message "Exception has been thown by the target of an invocation".

Strangely, if we compile from an SDK provided Sample Project (SimpleOrderValidation) the files are not rejected. Regardless if they include a .lic file and regardless if the files are modified. In addition, we obtained a license for a sample project but its logic regarding OrderValidation did not function.
I'm at a bit of a loss at this point, and would appreciate any direction you could provide.

Bob,

I do apologize for asking if there are any updates, but project deadlines are approaching and I can not even access a dev hive to begin testing.

Are there any blaring mistakes I may have over looked in my development?

I understand we can't respond quickly enough via DevForum. I would contact the SoftPro customer service folks and try to get the question answered. I am sorry that we were unable to respond in a reasonable amount of time.

Hopefully you can refer to your post here if they need additional information.

Good luck!
