Bullets and Numbering

Post by Miri Yosef »

Does anyone know how could I make the system "read" the numbering the same way it was entered in word. I have a document with sections and subsections which are numbered in the following method:
1.
1.1
1.1.1.
1.1.2.
1.2

1.2.1.
1.2.2.

2.
2.1
2.1.1.
2.1.2.

2.2.
2.2.1.
2.2.2.

When importing the document to the Softpro Select program, it turns the numbering to the following method:

1.
1.
1.
2.
2.
1.
2.
2.
1.
1.
2.

2.
1.
2.

What version of Select are you on? Sections were not supported until the Glenwood release, so if you are on a previous version that might explain your results.

Thanks,

This document has no Word sections for different headers. It is only the numbering which I have problems with.

I see what you are talking about now. This is not a currently supported feature, however it is on the list of features we would like to add in a future release. Until then we only allow for a single character per level. So 1. would work but 1.1 would not.
