Default in Document

Post by beverley.morrison »

Is there a way to have a default on a prompt? For example, if I have a prompt for the Notary County but most of the time the answer would be Tulsa, is there a way to have the default pre-filled so the user could simply click enter without typing or have the option to overtype the default to a different result?

This is normally done by opening an existing order template, rendering a document that has a prompt for your field, then answering it with your desired default value. Finally, you save the template and the default setting is saved with the file. This would need to be done for each order template needed.

Alternatively, you can reach out to our Support team (through your SoftPro Representative) and inquire about SoftPro performing the changes.
