Re: Programmatically create profile?

You just beat me to answering this. Here is an example of adding a profile directly under Default that can be expanded as needed. It also shows how to set properties on the new profile. // Get top level tree node. IProfileTree parentProfileTree = profileMgr.ProfileTrees.First(t => t.Name == "Default...

Re: Failing to Edit existing order

You must close the first order before attempting to write changes to it as order2.

When you open an order, you have an exclusive write lock on it until it is closed. Your order2 can open the same order on the server, but fails attempting to write to the server since it does not have write access.

Re: How To create add Note to Order Notes collection

Get a new note object from the order, add text, then save the note to the order by adding it to the order's Notes collection. This same pattern is repeated from many objects.

Code: Select all

dynamic note = ((IOrder)_order).CreateNew("Note");
note.Text = {Your text string};
((IList)_order["Notes"]).Add(note);

Re: IBuyerSellerRelationship

Code: Select all

bool i = buyer.IsIndividual;
bool o = buyer.IsOrganization;
You do not have to initialize these properties. The framework handles these readonly properties for you. They are derived directly from the BuyerSellerType enum value.

Re: IBuyerSellerRelationship

The SoftPro.Select.Client.Enumerations namespace contains around 30 enums that can all be accessed in this manner. void IBuyerSellerRelationship_Demo(IOrder order) { SelectServer ss = GetService<SelectServer>(); IEnumManager enumMgr = ss.GetService<IEnumManager>(); IEnum<IBuyerSellerRelationship> re...
