Re: Iterating through {{Order.Buyers.People}}

Here's what one of our documents developers had to say... The coding they provided is mostly correct, other than a few small syntax errors. The SPML iteration FOREACH should be coded without parentheses. (Removed parenthesis from line 2 and 5, below.) <VAR $PeopleCount (0)> <FOREACH {{.People}}> <VA...

Re: Automation Picking my Test Service

Unfortunately I'm not familiar with pools but it appears that either some other Select client is connecting to you directly or your server instance is part of the production pool. Open the "SoftPro Select Services" application on the Production machine (or start the app on your machine and select th...

Re: Automation Picking my Test Service

This sounds expected if you mean that you installed Select Server on your local machine then you connected to it with your local client and did operations that handled by Automation. Or else you joined your local server to an existing Select mid-tier cluster. I'm afraid you will need additional word...

Re: Date Time of Person added to a Contact

Hey Emma,

Unfortunately I cannot find a way to get that information. I looked at various SQL tables, the Order model information associated with the "Person" object, and even the information stored as part of the Order History but none of them store a date associated with the contact.

Re: Custom Fields Not Prompting

Here is the response from our documents team: This is a little confusing, because they’re using FOREACH ASK coding on a custom field, which isn’t really possible since the custom field isn’t a multiple. I do think I understand what they’re wanting, but they can’t accomplish that with a custom field....

Re: Shell Command Table

From a Select Developer:

The latest VSIX that’s published to Visual Studio Marketplace corresponds to 4.6.1. I have manually published the 4.6.8 VSIX. Please ask the customer to install it in VS 2015, restart VS and the Shell command table generator should be available.

Re: Custom Fields

As so far as modifying the "unused" custom fields to set them to Hidden, I think that's a good idea. As so far as SQL to modify custom field, I wouldn't because it is not safe. The two SQL tables with the data have a Watermark column and this is internal logic to Select - stay away. You can use SQL ...

Re: Entering multiple looans per order

Have you tried creating a new "Loan" object then attaching it to the Loans collection? IList loans = (IList)order.GetProperty("Loans"); IOrderItem loan = order.CreateNew("Loan"); loans.Add(loan); // Don't set properties until the item is part of the order collection. loan.SetProperty("Number", "The ...
